creates art that is deeply rooted in the human experience. As though he wanted to tell us who we are and what makes up our personality. He is searching for moments, which the spectator discovers, in his own experiences.
He is looking for universal, typical situations for the process of life and the experiencing of it.
Childhood and how we felt at the time, youthful desires as we grow up.
The confrontation of man with woman - who are they to each other? The experience of the passage of life and of death. Being oneself, with oneself, in oneself. The experience of God as the Creator. All this can be found in the artist's pictures, be they portrait, figurative composition, or landscape.

The techniques the artist employs are traditional: paints, canvas, pen and ink on paper.
But he has found in them his own language. The oxymoronic depiction of faces, compositions which have written in them an element of time, and which can be told as stories.
Poses of figures which are sometimes theatrical and sometimes, like the cave paintings of old, seemingly in defiance of impressionistically vibrant colour.
What is also important to the artist is employing a large scale for his pictures.

Ever since his studies at the Academy of Fine Art in Cracow (MA in 1987) the artist is very active in exhibiting his work. Especially since his arrival in London in 1996.

He had 143 shows:

  • 26 exhibitions in Poland
