Artists in Residence at the National Trust: Mariusz & Kasia Kaldowski

In 2024, we were honoured to exhibit as artists in residence with the National Trust at Nymans. This opportunity allowed us to share our artistic response to historic landscapes and gardens, capturing the unique character and spirit of these treasured places.


The National Trust plays a vital role in preserving heritage, culture, and the environment. Through its careful stewardship of historic houses, gardens, and landscapes, the Trust ensures that these spaces remain accessible and meaningful for future generations.


Our paintings celebrate not only the beauty of these gardens but also the values behind them: sustainable gardening, biodiversity, and environmental care. The National Trust’s commitment to rewilding, protecting pollinators, and maintaining traditional horticultural skills aligns with our own passion for connecting art with nature.
